New Gmail logo for 2020
01 DEC

Have you noticed the new Google Gmail logo

The new Google Gmail icon was officially introduced mid-October 2020 albeit it slipped in quietly for most users in Zambia. Google back in July 2020 had hinted that a new Gmail logo was on the way.

Announcement of the new Google Gmail logo was expected as the company has been rebranding most of their logos for a while now. In each of their new logo or icon deliveries, Google has been changing to a homogeneous ecosystem of five colors.

On a background of white is blue, red, orange and green. However other some users from Twitter where left unsatisfied with the new log

Gmail’s new logo is a JOKE. A homogeneous color scheme for their entire suite of apps is a terrible idea. The red envelope stuck out much better. Now every app looks the same at a squint with the exact same colors. I hope they don’t touch up docs sheets and slides. SAD! pic.twitter.com/FdrlTayb7D
